'Filling In' Wins Best Television Pilot at Honolulu Film Awards
Last night it was announced that Filling In was declared the Best Television Pilot at the top tier level for the Honolulu Film Awards. This is now the fourth award for our proof-of-concept of a pilot for a 30 minute television series, with the other three wins being from the California Film Awards, the Austin Indie Fest, and from the Oniros Film Awards in Italy.
According to their website, "The Honolulu Film Awards is a crossroads of the world, bridging the gap between East and West, in the spirit of independent cinema and the beautiful island of Oahu, Hawaii. The Honolulu Film Awards recognizes outstanding achievement in filmmaking from around the world. It is our mission to recognize and celebrate the finest independent cinema the world has to offer while helping to advance the careers of promising filmmakers by providing a platform through which their talents can be recognized."
