'Filling In' Heads Back to Georgia for the ME Film Festival
Filling In returns to "The Peach State" for the sixth time in the past year but now is heading to Milledgeville, GA, for the Milledgeville-Eatonton Film Festival. The six-day film fest (April 24-29) is being held in both Milledgeville and Eatonton (both about two hours east of Atlanta) and according to the ME film fest website, "is branded as a Southern Gothic-themed film event, created by filmmakers for filmmakers." Now in its fifth year, the ME Film Festival will "showcase filmmaking talents from more than 40 countries over six days. Located in the heart of central Georgia, the ME Film Festival sets itself apart by creating an intimate atmosphere between other filmmakers and industry professionals, fostering unique and worthwhile networking opportunities you’re unlikely to receive anywhere else," (film freeway.com).
Director, Bradley Hawkins will be attending the ME Film Festival , and has been asked to be part of a panel discussion on Screenwriting that takes place at 12 noon on Sunday, April 29.. Filling In will be screened at the Georgia College Arts & Sciences Auditorium immediately afterwards in the Family & Inspirational Shorts film block from 1-3PM. on Sunday, April 29th. Our comedy-fantasy short will be the last of the five shorts being screened in this film block, which will be followed by a Q & A panel of attending filmmakers, including our director, Bradley Hawkins.
