'Filling In' Wins Best Television Pilot at Austin Indie Fest

On Sunday, Nov. 12, 2017 the first annual Austin Indie Fest awarded Filling In as Best Television Pilot , making this the second award win in this category for our short film as a proof-of-concept pilot for a comedy-fantasy series. The Austin Indie Fest was held Nov. 10-12, in Austin, Texas with Filling In screened on the opening night of the three-day event in the Fantasy-Superhero film block at Holiday Inn Conference Center. The previous win for Filling In as a pilot for a television series was presented at the Italian-based Oniros Film Awards in July of this year, and the film is awaiting notification from at least three other film festivals for consideration in this category through 2018 as well.
