'Filling In' Comes Home to Lancaster, PA!
The 10th annual Lancaster International Short Film Festival has announced Filling In as an official selection, and have scheduled it for the opening night set of the three-night film fest. which runs from Nov. 9-11, 2017. A total of 48 short films from around the world will be screened at the fest over the three night with awards feeing presented after the closing block on Sat. Nov.11 for Best Comedy, Best Documentary, Best Drama, Best Horror, and Best Animated Short, Additionally, there will also be two other special awards, the Best Home Grown— for the best short film created by a Lancaster County team or theme, and Best Actor (determined by the endorsements of ticket purchasers). Filling In is one of nine locally produced films that are eligible for the Home Grown Award at the festival.
According to the LISFF Facebook page, "The Lancaster International Short Film Festival supports the independent digital film community by offering a competitive film festival to inspire and motivate the ever-developing Lancaster, Pennsylvania into an annual destination for short film aficionados to experience the best of the contemporary art form." Filling In will be screened on Thrs., Nov. 9th in the first block of films of the festival which starts at 7:00 PM and ends at 8:45 PM.
