'Filling In' Goes to Hollywood for Halloween!
Making its first appearance in Southern California, Filling in has been selected to be screened on the opening night of the 8th annual Zed Fest Film Festival, which just happens to be Halloween, Oct. 31st, 2017! The four-night genre-oriented film festival runs from 10/31 through Friday 11/3 in North Hollywood at the Laemelle NoHo 7 Theatre. As described on their Facebook page, "Zed Fest Film Festival Was founded in 2010 to honor and acknowledge filmmakers and screenwriters who persevere against all odds to get their films made and tell their stories. In our competition we search for the Filmmakers and Screenwriters that embody the spirit of passionate movie making itself. Our films are fun, artistic and innovative."
The 8th annual Zed Fest includes 12 feature length films and over 50 shorts, all of which generally fall within the genres of horror, sic-fi, and fantasy. Zed Fest Film Festival 2017 will also include a special panel discussion on Women in Film on Wed , Nov. 1st from 7-9 PM. For more info, check out Zed Fest Film Festival website at zedfest.org.
