'Filling In' Comes Home to Lancaster, PA!

The 10th annual Lancaster International Short Film Festival has announced Filling In as an official selection, and have scheduled it for the opening night set of the three-night film fest. which runs from Nov. 9-11, 2017. A total of 48 short films from around the world will be screened at the fest over the three night with awards feeing presented after the closing block on Sat. Nov.11 for Best Comedy, Best Documentary, Best Drama, Best Horror, and Best Animated Short, Additionally, there will also be two other special awards, the Best Home Grown— for the best short film created by a Lancaster County team or theme, and Best Actor (determined by the endorsements of ticket purchasers). Filling In returns to NY state for the fourth time on Sunday, Nov. 5th, 2017 for the Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival. Making its first appearance in Southern California, Filling in has been selected to be screened on the opening night of the 8th annual Zed Fest Film Festival, which just happens to be Halloween, Oct. 31st, 2017! The Celtic Mystery Short Film Festival recently upgraded the selection status for Filling in from Official Selection to Semi-Finalist, meaning that our comedy-fantasy short is now considered eligible for award recognition at the even held in London, England! MVIFF Declares 'Filling In' Best Short Film

The 4th annual Mount Vernon International Film Festival announced Filling In as the winner of the Best Short Film award on their Facebook page last night. As described on their website MVIFF "is a showcase of extraordinary films from emerging and aspiring artists, filmmakers, and directors that integrate different media formats to produce quality films." Harrisburg-Hershey Film Festival Honors 'Filling In'

The Harrisburg-Hershey Film Festival announced the winners and nominees tonight from their 3rd annual event held at the Midtown Cinema in Harrisburg from Sept. 15-20, 2017. Included on the list of nominees and winners from the international film fest were wins for Filling In for both Best Narrative Short Film - Comedy and Best Film from a Local Artist (Bradley Hawkins), which included nominees of both feature length and short films from Central Pennsylvania. The Utopia Film Festival in Greenbelt, Maryland has declared Filling In as an official selection of their 13th annual film festival in Greenbelt, Maryland. The comedy-fantasy short visited Maryland earlier this month as an official selection at a film fest in Cumberland, MD, and will now be screened at the Utopia Film Festival in Greenbelt (near Washington D.C.) on Oct. 14-15, 2017. Idaho Horror Film Festival Screens 'Filling In' In New Family-Friendly Film Block

Admittedly, the pairing of our quirky, comedy-fantasy with one of the largest horror film fests in the country, may initially seem odd and ill-fitting. However, Filling In director, Bradley Hawkins was thrilled when the the Idaho Horror Film Festival contacted him requesting to screen our film to help promote the new addition of a family-friendly film block for their 4th annual rendition of their festival. 'Filling In' Premieres in Nevada at the Laughlin International Film Festival

The 6th annual Laughlin International Film Festival (10/12-15) will mark the Nevada premiere for Filling In, with its screening scheduled on Friday, October 13th of the four day event. Laughlin, NV is near the tri-state intersection of California, Arizona and is approximately 95 miles south of Las Vegas and just under 300 miles northeast of Los Angeles. The Queen City Film Festival in Cumberland, MD will mark as the Maryland State premiere for Filling In.
