Bradley Hawkins won his fifth award for his direction of Filling In on Sunday July 30, this time at the Brightside Tavern Short Film Festival in Jersey City, NJ. Hawkins won the award for Best Direction - Comedy at the festival, where Filling In was also nominated for Best Comedy, and Jared Odrick was nominated for Best Actor in a Comedy as well. Co-Star, Karl Holtz attended the Chautauqua International Film Festival in Jamestown, NY and accepted the three awards that Filling In was honored for at the event. Director, Bradley Hawkins won the Best Director (short film), trophy, while Ryan Geesaman won the Gold Certificate Award for Best Editing (short film), and Jared Odrick was honored with the Silver Certificate Award for Lead Actor at CIFF 2017.
